Coach Owen brings years of competitive playing experience and a deep understanding of the game to every lesson. He began his hockey journey at a young age and went on to play Varsity hockey at Chisago Lakes High School, where he developed strong fundamentals, teamwork skills, and a passion for helping others improve.
After high school, Owen continued his hockey career at a higher level, playing two years of junior hockey in the USPHL with the Minnesota Mullets. Competing in a fast-paced and demanding league helped him grow his skills, discipline, and knowledge of the game. He currently continues to play club hockey in college, staying actively involved and up-to-date with the sport.
In addition to his playing experience, Coach Owen has attended dozens of individual lessons, skill sessions, and hockey camps over the years. This has given him valuable insight into what makes a training program both effective and enjoyable. He uses that experience to create practices that are well-organized, engaging, and tailored to help young players learn, improve, and most importantly, have fun on the ice.
